For the third consecutive year, Industria Felix recognises Andriani achievements and includes it among the top 90 most competitive companies in Puglia, Basilicata, and Molise.

Gravina in Puglia, 5 July 2021 – On Friday 2 July, against the backdrop of Taranto’s beautiful Castello Aragonese, in the presence of the city’s mayor, Rinaldo Melucci, and Michele Emiliano, President of Regione Puglia, Andriani S.p.A. Società Benefit was recognised as one of the 90 best companies in Puglia, Basilicata, and Molise during the presentation of the results of the annual survey involving 50,000 companies from the South of Italy conducted by the quarterly Industria Felix Magazine, supplement of Il Sole 24 Ore, and the Cerved Rating Agency.

This is an important award for the Gravina-based company who receives it for the third consecutive year adding to the numerous recognitions earned over the years thanks to its virtuous business management.

Active in the Italian and international food sector since 2009, Andriani has adopted a strategy based on innovation and sustainability, focusing on people’s well-being – to meet the demand of consumers interested in product and process innovation – as well as social, environmental and economic well-being.
A transparent and effective way of operating that has allowed it to consolidate and consistently expand its position on the market, including in terms of turnover – which went from 33 million euros in 2015 to 78.3 million in 2020. The report highlighted an increase in revenue (+2%) and in operators (+6.8) in Puglia, before Covid.

The highest revenue increase in the region was recorded in the province of Bari (27 billion), which also has the highest number of operators (172,000) and the best regional growth performance (+9.1 compared to the previous year). At the award ceremony, which included the presentation of the Green certificate in recognition of the company’s commitment to sustainable development, Domenico Mazzilli, Managing Director of Andriani S.p.A. Società Benefit, said: “We want our growth to continue to be virtuous, responsible, transparent, and sustainable. We have chosen to become a benefit corporation because our business strategy is strongly oriented towards common benefit and social, environmental, and economic well-being.

We are convinced that great results can only be obtained acting together, coherently and through tangible actions, and by creating a system starting from our territory. Our company’s performance data prove us right and receiving this prestigious award for the third time is a gratification as well as the confirmation that the direction we have taken is the right one”.
